Psychotherapist and Social Worker
I am a licensed psychotherapist and social worker committed to offering trauma-informed care to children, adolescents, young adults, and families impacted by intergenerational trauma. My practice is deeply rooted in compassion, creativity, and the belief that transformation is possible for everyone.
From a young age, I've been enamored by the complexities of the human mind and the resilience of the human spirit. This passion led me to earn a Bachelor's in Psychology with a minor in Sociology from Georgia State University, followed by a Master's in Social Work from Rutgers University. These academic foundations, coupled with years of clinical experience, inform my ability to create spaces for transformation and healing.
I have supported individuals navigating life as they face the plight of anxiety, depression, trauma, and interpersonal conflicts. My therapeutic style emphasizes depth, self-awareness, and empowerment, blending evidence-based practices with a creative and intuitive approach. I believe that growth often begins when we explore and challenge the stories we tell ourselves, paving the way for transformation.
Empathy and empowerment are at the heart of my work. I guide clients in building harmonious relationships, both with others and within themselves, by fostering insight, self-compassion, and confidence. I encourage the exploration of identity and purpose, helping clients embrace their authenticity and step into their own power.
Creative expression also plays a pivotal role in my practice. I often incorporate artistic methods and reflective exercises to help clients access deeper emotional truths, develop new perspectives, and discover their inner strength. This integration of healing and creativity reflects my dedication to offering a unique and empowering therapeutic experience for each person’s unique needs.
Outside of Sessions
I enjoy nurturing my relationships with my family and friends, practicing yoga, wandering on hikes, and engaging with the art world through music, film, books, and art galleries.
